The USP Samoa Campus delivers the University’s strategic objectives locally and supports Kiribati, as a USP Member Country, in the social, economic, and cultural development of its students and communities. The University is seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant. The Finance Assistant is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and compliant financial processing and administrative support. The role ensures proper documentation, supports efficient operations, and maintains adherence to established procedures and internal controls.

The Person We Seek

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • Completed a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completed a Diploma and two (2) years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completed a post-trades certificate or advanced certificate and five (5) years of relevant experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/ training.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

The position is available for a term of 3 years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.

Salary Range

  • Grade 4: WST42,283.47 to WST50,824.95 per annum
