PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST X2 (PORTFOLIO HEAD)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bluebird Lumber & Hardware Co. Ltd is seeking two capable and commercially driven Procurement Specialists to take full ownership of assigned procurement portfolios.

This is a leadership role - not a transactional purchasing position.
You will be accountable for end-to-end portfolio performance, including:

• Supplier sourcing, negotiation, and performance management.
• Cost control and delivery of measurable savings.
• Procurement planning aligned to budgets and forecasts.
• Purchase Order accuracy and compliance. 
• System and master-data integrity (pricing, SKUs, suppliers)
• Risk management and supply continuity.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Inventory, Finance, Marketing, Logistics, and Sals.
• Performance is measured against defined KPIs, including cost savings, supplier compliance, planning accuracy, and data integrity.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience managing procurement portfolios or categories.
• Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively.
• High integrity, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Experience with procurement/inventory systems is an advantage.

This role requires accountability, structured thinking, and proactive leadership. Silo behavior or weak decision-making will not succeed in the model.

SALARY

Salary Package: $35,000 - $65,000 per annum (gross)
(Negotiable depending on experience and qualification).
