BAT Samoa is seeking to recruit self-driven, committed and agile individual for the role of
Human Resources Manager at our office in Apia.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager the key accountabilities include:
- Proactively support and drive end-to end HR activities including recruitment,
onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
- Support with the review of policies ensuring legal compliance is adhered to and
managed with legal stakeholders
- Carryout out Data validation & reporting as required for smooth HR cycle activities
implementation and in line with Global requirements against data integrity.
- Assist with the management of employee benefits, payroll coordination, and wellness
initiatives
- Provide advice to and support to employees on HR process and policies with the
guidance from the HR Manager.
- Work with functions to develop the training plan and coordinate delivery with
functions across the business.
- Lead and drive assigned projects in line with the people agenda such as revamp of
practices, coordinate careers fairs, internship recruitment, wellness initiatives.
- Coordinate with the HR Manager on the regional HR cycle activities including reward,
performance, standardized surveys.
- Drive head Count reporting submissions as per the Global cycle with guidance from
the HR Manager
Qualifications and Essential Attributes:
- Tertiary degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or any related field
- Proficiency in MS Office suite with focus on MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS
SharePoint
- Basic knowledge of market employment law
- Strong planning and execution skills
- Project Management experience
- Aptitude for data analytics, manipulation and visualization.
