LUMBER YARD LABOURERS

CORE PURPOSE 

To support the daily operations of the Bluebird Lumber Yard by safely handling, preparing, and moving timber and building materials, ensuring customers receive efficient service and the yard remains organized, safe, and productive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload orders.
• Assist customers with selecting, measuring, and carrying materials.
• Keep the lumber yard clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Stack, sort, and store materials correctly.
• Assist with deliveries and stock movement when required.
• Follow all workplace health & safety procedures.
• Support team members and supervisor with daily operational tasks.

SKILLS & QUALITIES

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Positive attitude and customer - focused mindset.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
