About the Role

SynBiz Solutions Pte Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid accounting foundation, practical experience, and a strong desire to learn and grow in a professional services environment.
You will be responsible for managing accounting, finance tasks, payroll and statutory compliance for both the company and its clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and
timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records for the company and client portfolios
• Review and verify timesheets for accuracy and compliance prior to payroll processing for multiple countries
• Process multi-country client payrolls, including salaries, allowances, deductions, and adjustments
• Prepare and post payroll general ledger (GL) entries and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely statutory payments and lodgements for clients (PAYE, tax, superannuation/SNPF, VAT, etc., as applicable)
• Manage statutory obligations and reporting deadlines
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and payroll summaries
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Liaise with clients on payroll, accounting, and compliance matters
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal policies
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as required

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
• Working knowledge of accounting systems (e.g. Xero, MYOB or similar)
• Experience with payroll processing and statutory compliance
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
