Caritas Samoa is an agency for humanitarian relief and development in Samoa. Caritas Samoa works to end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity.
Our programs promote the good and every person regardless of their religious, political or cultural beliefs. We envisage a world in which people most vulnerable to extreme poverty and injustice are agents of their own change and architects of their own development.
Caritas is a Catholic International Confederation consisting of over 160 member organizations and working in more than 200 countries and territories around the globe. Caritas Samoa was founded in February 2008 and became a full-fledged member of Caritas Internationals in 2011.
Since its establishment, Caritas Samoa has undertaken various humanitarian projects in Samoa focusing on people living under the basic needs poverty line and on those affected from disasters and challenging circumstances.
Caritas Samoa works in close partnership with Caritas agencies, international relief organizations local government and with village communities.
