SILVA GROUP is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced persons for the following position at our MAIN OFFICE in Vaitele. 1. SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER Responsibilities Coordinate and provide support system in the Recruitment and Dismissal of employees. Work with company CEO and/or Director to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees. Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues. Continually educate employees on company policies (including sexual harassment, appropriate dress and social media permissions, etc.) and keep employee handbook current. Maintain employee records and follow up outstanding documents. Provide and facilitate induction course for new recruits from the company Employment Handbook. Provide and facilitate training on Occupational Safety and Health. Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive. Monitor the attendance register. Process weekly staff payroll. Monitor, maintain and provide monthly report on employee leave entitlements. Establish and implement staff performance review on due dates. Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues. Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any problems or grievances they may have. Requirements A minimum qualification of Diploma in Business Administration, HR, Economic, or other related areas. Minimum of (3) years of working experience. A proven leader with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect department managers and employees regarding all HR matters. Good knowledge of budget and accounting systems, office administration, information management and record keeping. Good report writing and knowledge of computer office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc). Exceptional analytical problem solving skills and be able to work in a diversified environment. Expert stress management skills and ability to make important decisions under pressure. Salary An attractive Salary of $28,000.00 per annum or $538.00 per week and other staff benefits stipulated in Company’s Employment Manual.
