CORE PURPOSE  To support the daily operations of the Bluebird Lumber Yard by safely handling, preparing, and moving timber and building materials, ensuring customers receive efficient service and the yard remains organized, safe, and productive. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Load and unload orders. Assist customers with selecting, measuring, and carrying materials. Keep the lumber yard clean, organized, and safe at all times. Stack, sort, and store materials correctly. Assist with deliveries and stock movement when required. Follow all workplace health & safety procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system. Handle cash, EFTPOS, and other payments methods responsibly. Issue receipts, invoices, and refunds where required. Assist customers with product enquiries and pricing. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cashier area. Balance cash drawers and report discrepancies.
