Serendi Coco Samoa Ltd (SCS) is a local company engaged in the production of organic and fair trade certified refined coconut oil for the US market. The company is looking for a highly competent and motivated individual to supervise and coordinate the staff and its operations in Savaii. The position is based in Savai’i and will involve extensive visits to coconut farmers and dryers throughout the island. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Supervision & coordination of the company operations in Savai’i on a daily basis, including staff. Ensure company procedures & standards for grading and purchasing copra is closely followed by staff. Oversee and monitor company expenditures & budget for Savaii Security and safety of company assets, copra supplies etc. Assist with copra production in Savai’i Assist with coconut collection activities in Savai’i Training staff on excellent customer service to all Serendi Coco Samoa clients Identifying areas improvement in the office and out in the field and make suggestions to management Close liaison with coconut farmers and dryers Visiting farmers and dryers on a daily basis Providing progress reports to main office on a weekly basis. Qualifications and Attributes: Self-Motivated Ability to schedule and plan work programs and set timelines Excellent communicator and also resourceful Good leadership qualities and ability to work together as a team Experience in managing a small team Efficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Depending on qualifications and experience, a starting salary in the range of SAT25, 000 – SAT30, 000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
