 As part of CMA CGM’s ongoing growth in the Pacific Islands, we are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Inland Logistics Services & Customer Service Representative to join our American Samoa team.

 In this pivotal role, you will manage the end-to-end customer experience, acting as the primary liaison between clients, internal departments, and external partners to ensure seamless logistics coordination and exceptional service delivery.

The role and responsibilities will include

  • Act as the first point of contact, handling all customer enquiries and communications.
  • Oversee the full order lifecycle, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance
  • Managing container fleet movements, empty evacuations, and damage reporting.
  • Liaising with terminals, vessel planners, and overseas agents to resolve service issues.
  • Ensuring timely and effective communication with customers on delays, disruptions, or exceptions.
  • Supporting administrative functions and contributing to general office coordination.
  • Promoting CMA CGM Group digital solutions, value-added services (VAS), and customer engagement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive administration and logistics experience with proven organizational abilities.
  • Strong background in customer service, with a customer-oriented and satisfaction-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional telephone etiquette.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, including handling customer issues and building positive relationships.
  • Good computer literacy, supporting efficient administrative and service tasks.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.
  • Capability of working independently, showing initiative and reliability without supervision.

  Eligibility to Apply: This is a local contract role based in American Samoa. Only candidates currently residing in American Samoa will be considered. Relocation or visa support is not available.
