BAT Samoa is seeking to recruit self-driven, committed, and agile individuals for the role of Process Lead within the Operations Department

Reporting to the Production Lead, the key accountabilities include:

  • Assist the Production Lead in the development and execution of the 90-Day Plans to address losses and build capability.
  • Creation of current state and future state loss trees utilizing tools such as loss allocation and S-shape (90 days plan)
  • Participate in daily meetings online process daily to set priorities and allocate resources and report results for Process Failures and initial findings.
  • Assist the Production Lead to identify root cause problem solving efforts on key chronic losses for the line(s)
  • Leads and builds the capability of team around process failures technical troubleshooting.
  • Executing weekly Health Checks, identifying gaps in system, and implementing appropriate countermeasures.

Qualifications and Essential Attributes:

  • To be considered for this role, you must minimum Diploma holder in mechanical/ industrial engineering/ any other engineering discipline or production management / supervisory management with 5 years FMCG experience.
  • Ability to work with data and information analysis using Microsoft Excel & Macro
  • Proficient in MS Words and power-point is required for standard reporting.
  • You must have fluent written and verbal communications in both Samoan and English.
