Objective:
The appointment of the CEO for Lakapi Samoa represents an important milestone in the delivery of key governance and administrative reforms for the principal body responsible for rugby administration, management and development in Samoa. The position is to provide strong leadership for Lakapi Samoa executive management team and supporting the Board in executing the Board's vision, strategy and priorities for the organisation and ensuring the effective and sustainable delivery of the Unions high performance and rugby development programs in Samoa.

Rugby Samoa is the governing body of the sport of rugby union in Samoa. Founded as the Apia Rugby Union in 1924, it was affiliated to the New Zealand Rugby Football Union the same year. It joined the International Rugby Board as the Western Samoa Rugby Football Union in 1988.
