Capture Consultant, Pacific Islands – Countering Trafficking in Persons (See PD further below)
Winrock International is recruiting applicants for a Consultant to conduct capture activities for pursuing an opportunity in the Pacific Islands (Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu) to combat trafficking in persons. The consultant will provide information on current counter-trafficking work in region, hold meetings in person or organize remote meetings with relevant stakeholders, and collect information for use in the proposal and provide logistical support to set up remote meetings with key stakeholders.
Qualified nationals from any of the above mentioned Pacific Island countries are strongly encouraged to apply, especially those residing in the region.

Consultant Position: Capture Consultant, Pacific Islands –Counter Trafficking in Persons
Location: TBD location in Pacific Island countries (Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu)
Unit: Human Rights, Education and Empowerment (HREE)
Reports to: HREE Program Officer
Duration: Up to 15 days (120 hours) of work covering from September 14, 2020 through December 30, 2020
Background: Winrock has a longstanding commitment to combatting trafficking in persons with more than 20 years of experience. Winrock has worked in across Asia for many years with local/national/regional governments, civil society organizations, companies, and other key stakeholders to reduce human trafficking in the region.
Assignment Summary: Winrock is currently preparing for an anticipated project to address trafficking-in-persons in the Pacific Islands. The consultant will provide technical inputs per provided questions, conduct a stakeholder analysis, connect Winrock with relevant stakeholders, collect cost and technical information, and help translate conversations, if needed.
Activities: Specific tasks to be carried out during this assignment are as follows:

2. Conduct a rapid field assessment and support logistics for remote engagement and dialogue by Winrock
3. Provide cost inputs per Winrock template
